Live From IBC 2024: EVS’s Jan Mokallai on Growth LiveCeption and Company’s 30th Anniversary

In addition, EVS celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2024, marking three decades of leading innovation as it continues to expand its technology offerings. SVG chatted with Jan Mokallai, VP Solutions, LiveCeption, at the booth regarding the company’s latest offerings at IBC its longstanding impact on and evolution in the broadcast industry.

At IBC 2024, EVS is putting its LiveCeption live production, replay, and highlights solution at the forefront. Also at IBC 2024, EVS highlights advancements in generative AI for content creation. This includes transforming single-camera footage into super motion and introducing new effects such as shallow depth of field and de-blurring. By creating shallow depth of field to mimic cinematic lenses and de-blurring motion blur from fast-moving footage, broadcasters can improve both visual quality and advertising visibility.
