Live From IBC 2025: Monday’s Latest From Halls 11-14 in Amsterdam

The SVG Europe and SVG Americas teams are onsite in Amsterdam for IBC 2025. As the production and broadcast industry gathers to launch new products and reconnect, the SVG team is out in force in the exhibition halls of the RAI to gather and share the latest news with the SVG community. You’ll find all the key announcements and news here with daily updates through Monday.

Today’s issue includes exhibitors from Halls 11-14, including Amazon Web Services, AudioShake, Camera Corps, Canon, Cartoni, Dell Technologies, Eluvio, FUJIFILM, Ikegami, Marshall Electronics, Megahertz, Mo-Sys, MRMC, MultiDyne, RED Digital Cinema, RTS Intercom Systems, Sony, Tata Communications, Telemetrics, Teradek, Vinten, and XD Motion.

Hall 11

Canon (Stand 11.C41) has unveiled the EOS C50, its smallest and lightest cinema camera at 1.5 pounds. Featuring a new 7K full-frame CMOS sensor, 7K 60P internal RAW recording, and 32MP still capture, it delivers hybrid performance in a compact form. With an RF mount, detachable handle with XLR inputs, and support for multiple codecs, the C50 is built for productions of all sizes. In addition, Canon has also introduced the CINE-SERVO 11-55mm T2.95-3.95, an ultra-wide 8K cine lens offering a 100° angle of view—wider than any previous Canon cine-servo lens. Covering Super 35mm sensors with a built-in 1.5x extender for full-frame use, it delivers sharp, vibrant imagery from 11–55mm (or 82.5mm with extender). Featuring fast focus/iris control, Focus Breathing Compensation, and USB-C customization, the lens is available in RF and PL mounts with support for advanced metadata, ARIA, and ALAC.

Marshall Electronics (Stand 11.C28) will launch the CV625, its first dual-sensor/dual-lens, PTZ/POV 4K tracking camera, at IBC2025. It offers simultaneous close-up and wide views, picture-in-picture outputs, and enhanced AI tracking. Equipped with an 8-megapixel 1/1.8in sensor, it captures 4K UHD at 60fps. The camera’s proactive AI auto tracking uses face recognition and learns subject movement for smooth framing, preventing focus “breathing”. Program outputs include 4K HDMI/RTSP, 3G-SDI, Ethernet, and USB 3.0, with a bonus live head count feature.

Once again exhibiting alongside Nikon and Red Digital Cinema, MRMC (Stand 11.C20b) will highlight a powerful and unified vision for the future of broadcast and cinematic production, including the launch of two new groundbreaking products: the Cinebot Nano and the RPS-LT (Roaming Pedestal System with robotic arm).  the exhibit will showcase a range of seamless workflows that demonstrate the combined power of MRMC’s robotics, Nikon’s imaging technologies, and Red’s cinematic cameras. This year’s show will provide attendees with a first-hand look at how these integrated solutions are redefining what is possible in modern content creation, from high-end virtual production to dynamic live broadcast. In addition, there will be hands-on demos of the Slidekamera Orion Slider with the Bullhead Studio multi-axis robot head, and a dedicated section for sports broadcast robotics.

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems (Stand 11.C12)will debut the C16-AM-12G, the first in its new Crescendo Series of audio and video monitoring tools, at IBC2025. This 1RU audio monitor supports embedded 12G-SDI and IP audio monitoring, building on its Census line with 12G and optional Dante or ST 2110-30 integration. It offers 16-channel monitoring, pristine sound quality, and intuitive controls for broadcast environments. Dual front displays show real-time audio parameters, with HDMI output for SDI video previewing, and all Crescendo Series monitors include redundant power supplies. In addition, MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems will present updates to its VersaBrix (VB) Series, a modular fibre-optic transport platform, at IBC2025. VersaBrix manages various signals, including 12G/3G/HD-SDI to HDMI 2.0, audio, and Ethernet, over a single fibre strand with uncompressed, near-zero latency. A new all-white chassis option will be introduced for all four VersaBrix form factors (two, four, six, and ten-slot versions), suitable for studio installations or visible gear. Its compact 1RU design makes it ideal for OB trucks and flypacks, simplifying temporary setups.

RED Digital Cinema (Stand 11.C20a) will bring its Cine-Broadcast Module to IBC2025, enabling full-frame cinematic imagery in live broadcast workflows. The module supports two channels of 4K60P (HDR/SDR) via 12G-SDI and SMPTE ST 2110 IP, plus a 4K60P JPEG XS feed. New this year is its integration with EVS’ XT-Via live production server, allowing enhanced super slow-motion (4x at 4K, 8x at 1080p). It also enables real-time 8K 120fps R3D streaming and AI/ML enhancements via the RED Connect license.

RTS Intercom Systems (Stand 11.D09) is redefining wireless communication with the launch of NOMAD Wireless Intercom. Engineered for high-stakes environments, NOMAD delivers reliability, mobility, and scalability, ensuring seamless communication when it matters most. Next, RTS has also launched its new HRF Series headsets, which is the next evolution of the company’s trusted broadcast headset line. Designed for seamless communication in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. With the new Flip-To-Mute feature, muting is as easy as flipping the boom up, and re-engaging is just as simple – flip it back down and you’re live again. Lastly, RTS Intercoms is launchig RVOC (RTS Voice Over Cloud), which is a cloud-based intercom solution engineered to revolutionize communication in mission-critical industries, including broadcasting, live events, corporate enterprise and healthcare.

Hall 12

Cartoni (Stand 12.F31) will present the MIXO 21, a brand-new fluid head designed for today’s fast-paced ENG operators & field productions. This isn’t just an upgrade, it’s a technical evolution. Compact, powerful, and intuitive, the MIXO 21 delivers unmatched performance with a form factor built for mobility. At its core, the MIXO 21 inherits Cartoni’s patented continuous counterbalance tech used in the acclaimed Focus & Master lines with a wide range step fluid drag covering all narrative styles. Field-ready, it meets the demanding needs of camera operators without compromising quality or performance. In addition to launching the MIXO 21, Cartoni will showcase the Encoded E-Master 30 with its VR Box 2.0, offering advanced control for XR, SFX, VFX, and virtual production environments. These E-series heads provide real-time positional metadata,a must-have for today’s data-driven production workflows, allowing seamless integration with graphics engines and enhancing immersion for sports broadcasts and virtual sets.

FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Optical Devices Division, (Stand 12.B20)has introduced the FUJINON LA30x7.8BRM 4K broadcast zoom lens, offering portability, advanced functionality, and affordability. Debuting at IBC 2025, the lens provides a 30x zoom (7.8mm–234mm) in a compact 190mm, 1.7kg design, ideal for versatile broadcast applications. Its new drive unit features 16-bit encoders for precision in virtual and remote production, while the rear focus mechanism minimizes focus breathing and ensures quiet operation. Delivering 4K optical performance across the zoom range, LA30x7.8 enhances efficiency for news, sports, and live event production.

Ikegami (Stand 12.A31) will spotlight three key innovations: the UHK-X700RF wireless camera, the UHL-X40 ultra-compact camera, and the IPX-100 IP-oriented mini base station. The UHK-X700RF delivers UHD and HD wireless capture with ultra-low latency and a 500m transmission range, ideal for news, sports, and live events. The lightweight UHL-X40 offers UHD imaging with global shutter CMOS sensors, low power use, and advanced filter controls for creative flexibility. Completing the lineup, the compact IPX-100 bridges SDI and IP infrastructures, making it a space-saving solution for mobile, REMI, and studio production environments.

Megahertz (Stand 12.D22) and Mediability have announced that the two companies are to be integrated, with the two systems integrators joining forces to tackle the industry’s most demanding challenges. Megahertz Ltd and Mediability AS have announced their intention to integrate operations, uniting decades of experience across live production, IP workflows, and AV installations. The move brings together complementary strengths across broadcast, corporate, education, and government sectors – creating a stronger, more agile partner for complex technology projects, the firms said. By bringing together specialist teams across broadcast, corporate AV, and IP infrastructure, the organisation can now offer a wider range of expertise and greater technical depth – enhancing its ability to support complex projects from the outset.

Telemetrics (Stand 12.G42)will spotlight safety with new collision avoidance and wearable tracking technology across its robotic camera systems. Highlights include the debut of the TeleScope, the industry’s first fully robotic jib with integrated sensors, and ultra-wideband wearables that improve tracking of talent and set pieces. TeleSense, a next-generation collision avoidance system, offers 360-degree protection for rovers and track systems. Updates to the OmniGlide wireless rover and reFrame tracking software further enhance accuracy, mobility, and operational safety.

XD Motion (Stand 12.B41) will unveil major production innovations at IBC2025, including the high-speed Arcam 15 robotic arm with a seventh axis of motion on the X dolly, enabling cinematic shots. Live demonstrations of the updated IO.BOT software will highlight centralized control over an entire robotic fleet. X tracking, integrating with Naostage’s K System, will automate camera, lighting, and sound via real-time performer tracking. The Microlight Live ULM aerial platform and Agile X fly micro L will also be showcased. XD motion will power a virtual talent ‘teleportation’ demo on the Brainstorm stand.

Hall 13

Camera Corps (Stand 13.A05) will showcase its new UHD underwater camera system at IBC2025, engineered for depths up to 6 meters and recently deployed at the World Aquatics Championships. This system, part of their specialized remote camera suite, offers UHD resolution and 18x zoom across tracking and PTZ models. It operates quietly to avoid disturbing athletes. They will also present newly launched robotic nodal intelligent remote heads and next-generation mini cameras supporting HDR for both traditional and social media platforms.

Sony (Stand 13.A10) will showcase new solutions at IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, including the PXW-Z300 XDCAM, a 4K60p authenticity-ready camcorder for news and documentary workflows. Other highlights include the Crystal LED CAPRI display wall for virtual production, the HDC-F5500V live system camera, the MLS-X1 modular production switcher, and the ECM-778 shotgun microphone. Sony will also present the BRC-AM7 PTZ camera, BURANO v2.0 cinema update, and the compact ILME-FX2 Cinema Line model.

Teradek (Stand 13.A05)has introduced the Bolt 6 XT 10K RX, a zero-delay wireless video receiver offering transmission up to 10,000 feet (3 km) over 5GHz and 6GHz frequencies. The system supports 4K60 resolution with dual 12G-SDI and HDMI outputs, integrating seamlessly with Bolt 4K and Bolt 6 ecosystems. Its directional antenna enhances RF performance while robust shielding reduces interference. Designed for cleaner setups, the all-in-one enclosure eliminates external antenna cables. Available standalone or as part of the Bolt 6 XT MAX Set, it streamlines long-range on-set connectivity.

At IBC2025 in Amsterdam, Vinten (Stand 13.A05) will present VEGA, its next-generation robotic control system designed for precision, intelligence, and creative flexibility. VEGA combines superior on-air motion with AI-driven tracking and automatic shot reframing, enabling dynamic visuals without constant manual input. Integrated speech recognition allows natural voice commands for camera operation. Part of the Videndum group, Vinten benefits from its parent company’s global reach in premium hardware and software solutions for broadcasters, studios, and content creators worldwide, employing around 1,300 people in nine countries.

Hall 14

Amazon Web Services (Stand 14.C66) will showcase generative AI and news distribution innovations at IBC2025. Reuters will demonstrate near real-time content replication from the UK parliament using the open-source Time-Addressable Media Store (TAMS) API and AWS services like Amazon S3 and MediaConvert. Demos will feature practical generative AI workloads with Amazon Bedrock and agentic AI capabilities for engagement and monetization. AWS will also celebrate 10 years since acquiring Elemental Technologies.

AudioShake (Stand 14.B39) has launched its first streaming-capable SDKs designed specifically for music detection and removal. The SDK allows media production teams to automatically detect and remove copyrighted music in their live or post-production content, helping them avoid fines and takedowns associated with copyright infringement. Broadcasters, UGC platforms and sports teams frequently face the challenge of unwanted music appearing in their content. This can lead to costly fines, content takedowns, or fully muted audio. AudioShake solves this problem in both live and post-production environments, leveraging its sound separation technology to detect and extract music from noisy audio files. The technology also isolates dialogue and background noise, giving editors greater control to customise audio – such as reducing the sound of a roaring crowd or boosting a commentator’s voice – in fast-paced, dynamic production environments.

Highlights for Dell Technologies (Stand 13.C35, 7.A23) at IBC2025 will include its latest AI-powered media solutions and sustainable technology. The company and its partners will showcase advancements in AI-driven workflows, enabling faster content creation, editing and distribution. These solutions are tailored to meet the demands of VFX artists, animators and broadcasters, ensuring collaboration and high-quality output. With a focus on sustainability, Dell will present ecofriendly innovations that reduce energy consumption and carbon footprints, aligning with the industry’s growing commitment to green practices.

Eluvio (Stand 14.A78) has launched a new ultra-efficient live global broadcast feed distribution capability using its Content Fabric, designed to replace legacy satellite and point-to-point fibre. It ingests raw video (SMPTE 2110/2022 JPEG-XS, MPEG-TS) and dynamically distributes streams as “Content Object ‘parts’” with sub-second latency and multi-path redundancy over commodity IP. Additionally, Eluvio unveiled the first fully automatic live sports highlights generation, utilizing inline agentic AI for real-time personalization and generation during live events.

Mo-Sys (Stand 14.B30) will be delivering hands-on demonstrations of its solutions to deliver AR graphics for sports broadcast, the Mo-Sys fleet of remote camera heads, including the new L20, and offering insights into its latest virtual production workflow innovations at IBC2025. The new flagship L20 remote head features speeds of 360°/s and offers quiet operation. It has been precision-engineered to strike a balance between size and support for the most popular high-end camera packages up to 20kg.

Tata Communications (Stand 14.C40) will highlight how cloud-native production, AI, and sustainable technologies are reshaping media workflows, from content creation to global distribution. Demonstrations will cover cloud-first production tools, secure AI-optimised transport across fibre, IP and satellite, and eco-friendly media asset management. Tata Communications will also showcase solutions for low-latency live transmission and advanced connectivity designed to reduce environmental impact.
