LiveU goes for Gold once again with SVG Europe as the sport broadcasting sector continues to grow

LiveU covering the thrills and spills for the FIA World Rally Championship in Sweden

LiveU has once again renewed its ongoing Gold Sponsorship of SVG Europe, following a year of further growth for the business in the sports broadcasting sector.

Ronen Artman, vice president of marketing at LiveU, stated: “We’ve seen tremendous growth in the use of LiveU in the sports sector across the last year, from the FIA World Rally Championship to Austrian Football and on to Spanish soccer; the list goes on.

LiveU is set to showcase a portfolio of 5G-enabled devices for live newsgathering and sports coverage at IBC 2019 as it prepares for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Both portable transmission units and remote production solutions will be displayed on the company’s stand in Amsterdam.

LiveU said it is already gearing up to support hundreds of customers with its HEVC technology in Tokyo next July.
