Location change: Overwhelming demand moves Women in Sports Media Initiative event to new venue

Due to an overwhelming response to the announcement of the SVG Europe Women in Sports Media Initiative summer networking event on 3 July, the location has been changed to a larger venue just a short distance away from the original location in central London.

The event, which starts at 6.30pm, will now be held at Langan’s Brasserie, Stratton Street, Mayfair, London W1J 8LB. The nearest tube station, just moments away from Langan’s, is Green Park.

Sponsored by CTV Outside Broadcasts and supported by Sky UK, women from across the industry are attending the evening of networking, drinks, panel sessions and speakers. Alongside drinks and canapés, attendees will be see speakers from across the sports broadcast industry, including inspirational speaker Trudie Adcock, head of leadership at Santander, and a panel of three women production executives from Sky UK – Sarah Warnock, Bridget Bremner and Jennie Blackmore – who will be interviewed by their colleague, Inga Ruehl, head of studios for Sky Production Services at Sky UK, on the why’s and how’s of their career progressions, and about Sky and its policies for women.
