Luna Remote Systems joins SVG Europe as a Bronze sponsor

Luna Remote Systems, specialists in providing high-quality remote camera systems to meet the needs of any production around the globe, has joined SVG Europe as a Bronze sponsor.

The company offers bespoke remote camera system solutions for sport, film, light entertainment and more, with systems that include four-point and two-point aerial wirecams, remote heads, remote dollies and towercams.

“We always have our finger on the pulse when it comes to working with the newest system solutions and inventions – sometimes it’s us that invented it!” said Jo Adams, commercial director at Luna. “We are on a constant quest to acquire the latest technology around and we aim to find new, innovative systems that will allow our clients the opportunity to capture what once would have been unachievable production goals.”

Recent projects in the sporting world include providing a four-point Eagle Eye system for ITV Racing and Matchroom Boxing, remote dollies and towercams for Sky Basketball, and working with AR systems at dock10 for the BBC during the Euros and the Olympics. The company also works regularly in the world of esports, most recently providing a range of seven systems for over a month for Riot Games’ League of Legends World Championships in Iceland in October.

On the decision to become a sponsor of SVG Europe, Adams added: “SVG has been at the forefront of bringing the biggest names in the sports broadcasting industry together for many years now and Luna, who have been getting more and more involved in working with the sporting world for a few years, wanted to be part of and contribute to this important community.”
