M2A Media Connects with SVG Europe as a Gold sponsor
M2A Media, an innovator in cloud-based video solutions, has renewed its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe.
As video delivery advances beyond inflexible legacy technologies, M2A Media is helping some of the world’s largest sports rights owners, broadcasters and OTT platforms transition their live video workflows to public cloud.
Through adoption of M2A Connect, the orchestration console for AWS MediaConnect, customers are able to schedule, provision, automate and deliver live sports content over cloud IP.
DAZN and Spark Sport use M2A Connect for the transport of their live video feeds from partners worldwide, while major international sports brands are using it to distribute live streams to their broadcast and OTT partners worldwide.
M2A Media recently supported the Sustainability in Live Production IBC Accelerator, working with BT Sport, BBC Sport, Sky Sport, Premier League Productions and NBC Universal, via its recently launched cloud-based, motion-compensated, live frame rate converter M2A Connect | Cloud Frame Rate Converter. The trial explored the most sustainable approach possible that can be introduced to a live TV production. High-level findings included confirmation that cloud production reduces the amount of technical infrastructure required for the gallery production, for some broadcasters by up to 70%.
