Mediapro provides OB facilities for two UEFA Euro 2024 venues

Mediapro delivered OB facilities at two UEFA Euro 2024 venues, with the company’s Broadcast Media Services (BMS) division appointed by UEFA to provide production services in Frankfurt and Leipzig.

Mediapro’s BMS division supplied OB facilities for the host broadcast production of nine matches across the two venues for Euro 2024, providing technical equipment and handling unilateral services for five matches at Frankfurt Arena and four at Leipzig Stadium.

The equipment provided in Frankfurt and Leipzig consisted of four OB trucks equipped with the “state-of-the-art production technology”, Mediapro said. This included a total of 70 cameras.

Across the 20 days Mediapro working on the tournament, encompassing the group and round of 16 stages, Mediapro BMS deployed 35 cameras in each stadium, positioned according to the 1080p50 HDR host broadcast camera plan provided by UEFA.

The four OB trucks provided by Grup Mediapro were supplemented by a technical team of 80 Mediapro BMS staff, including project managers, video and audio technicians, broadcast engineers and camera operators, working alongside the UEFA team.
