Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at SVG Europe
SVG Europe would like to wish all of our readers, members, sponsors and friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
2019 has been a stellar year for the association with attendance at events up 20% and readership on the website increasing by 12%, breaking through the 150,000 visitor barrier for the first time.
Our reach has increased significantly on social media, we’ve introduced new initiatives for Sustainability and Education and seen the Women’s initiative go from strength-to-strength.
Also this year, we said goodbye to one chairman, IMG’s Dave Shield, and welcomed another, Sky Germany’s Alessandro Reitano. Under Reitano’s guidance, we will have some new and very exciting things coming up in 2020 for the sports production community.
We have also welcomed a whole host of new sponsors. For this, we are very grateful. We couldn’t do any of this without you. We hope all our sponsors, old and new, enjoy being part of the SVG Europe family.
Finally, thank you to all the people that have supported SVG Europe this year whether it is through sponsorship, speaking at or attending our events, reading our articles, watching our videos, retweeting our tweets or simply providing moral support for what we are trying to achieve.
