Moov goes for Gold SVG Europe sponsorship
Virtual studio, sport and events graphics company Moov has renewed its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe.
The company works with UK and international broadcasters such as BBC, TNT Sports, ITV and Amazon Prime and contributes to many high-profile sporting events, including Wimbledon, The Grand National, Commonwealth Games, and the Winter and Summer Olympic and the Paralympic Games.
Highlights this year include working on BBC Sport’s Paris 2024 studio, for which Moov delivered the implementation of the studio design and control, including the keying and AR control.
The company also enjoyed a busy summer of tennis, delivering match graphics for Queen’s, Eastbourne and the Wimbledon Qualifiers at Roehampton before moving on to Wimbledon itself, where the offering is more comprehensive.
“We design and manage Wimbledon’s broadcast branding, which we’re really proud of,” says Nev Appleton, director and co-founder, Moov. “There are so many delivery points across the event itself and to all their rights holders globally, so being able to look after it and make sure it’s consistent across all those different partners is really a big responsibility for us.
For its operations at SW19, Moov also deploy a team of creatives, graphics ops, software and engineering specialists. The company also utilises its Orion Tennis Software to capture live scoring and statistics and drive graphics at Wimbledon, servicing multiple clients and outputs across the fortnight with fast and accurate results.
