MOOV to provide live broadcast graphics from Rio for Sunset+ Vine
MOOV has confirmed that it is to provide live broadcast graphics from Rio for Sunset + Vine’s C4 live coverage for the 2016 Paralympics. MOOV will send a team of four graphics operators made up of highly experienced graphics builders who are constantly proving themselves to be the best in their field and thrive in the live environment.
By coincidence, for Channel 4’s Year of Diversity, which addresses issues and imbalances around gender, disability and other areas of inequality, the MOOV team is all female.
Joanne de Rosa and Hannah Vincent have worked for MOOV for several years and have a huge amount of experience working on major sporting events, including the 2012 Paralympics in London.
Anousha Tarabad and Paris Cooper are more recent recruits; Paris moved from New Zealand to join MOOV’s racing graphics team but has now diversified into other sports, while Anousha, an avid sports fan, has brought her varied knowledge to the role with great success.
The team will work as pairs in shifts of eight hours at the IBC in Rio, providing all the live studio graphics for C4 studio coverage including timetables of events, interview graphics, medal tables and social media content.
Duncan Foot, director, MOOV, stated: “The Paralympics is a major event that we are proud to be a part of. Our team has been heavily involved in the design process, as well as providing the live elements. We have worked with Sunset + Vine many times and we find it’s a very collaborative process.”
