SVTS 2017 slider 480pxDigital signage, virtual reality and integrated broadcast solutions will be among the topics under discussion at the summit, which has a subtitle of ‘Perfecting the Present, Facing the Future’ and will take place in Amsterdam on 9 February during ISE 2017.

Now a staple of the annual SVG Europe event calendar, the Sports Venue Technology Summit @ ISE examines the technologies and processes underpinning the modern connected stadium. As well as assessing the latest developments to enhance the in-venue experience, the event also addresses the broadcast innovations bringing an increasing number of sports events to fans all around the world.

Following a successful 2016 event that examined a day in the life of a contemporary stadium, the Sports Venue Technology Summit 2017 will explore some of the technologies that are helping venues to perfect their offer in the present – and face the future with confidence. Digital signage, virtual reality and a new generation of broadcast platforms will all feature in a packed half-day programme that will also include networking opportunities.

Once again the programme has been devised by SVG Europe in conjunction with leading consultant Roland Hemming. Founder of RH Consulting, Hemming’s experience covers almost every aspect of live audio and AV, and has seen him work on a number of landmark projects, including the Millennium Dome and the 2012 Olympic Games.

The latest speakers to be confirmed are Will Waters, Director of Professional Services, Workflow Engineering at New Tek, and Pieter Van Leugenhagen, Business Strategist at Yondr. They will join sessions on content creation and virtual reality, respectively.

Previously confirmed speakers include: Florian Rotberg, Managing Director of leading digital signage and Digital Out of Home company invidis consulting; Bob Kronman, Director of digital display technology specialist Kronman Associates; and Stuart Fisher, Chief Technical Officer of Derby County Football Club. Sessions will be moderated by Roland Hemming and SVG Europe Managing Editor David Davies.
