More speakers including OBS CTO Sotiris Salamouris join Sports Production Innovation Summit line up

Olympic Broadcasting Services chief technology officer Sotiris Salamouris has joined the line up of speakers for SVG Europe’s Sports Production Innovation Summit.

Taking place in Barcelona with event partner GRUP MEDIAPRO on 12 June, the Sports Production Innovation Summit will explore cutting-edge advancements in sports production, focusing on the latest innovations in AI-driven production, cloud-based workflows, content creation for emerging and challenger sports and the future of centralised and remote production.

Salamouris will take part in an opening fireside chat with SVG co-executive director of editorial services Ken Kerschbaumer, where they will discuss production innovation for Olympic and Paralympic Games host broadcasts.

In addition, Telefónica Broadcast Services (TBS) CTO Roberto Jimeno Jiménez has joined the Future of Remote and Centralised Production panel, alongside Emili Planas, Mediapro CTO, Donald Sievewright, Matrox, EMEA Sales Manager, Dirk Thometzek, LucidLink, Solutions Architect.

Plus, Sofia Shuang, World Games, Coordinating Producer and Greg Breakell, ISB, Senior Coordinating Producer and Director will speak with Ursula Romero, ISB, Managing Director about the production of the upcoming 12th edition of The World Games.
