High Viz Media will showcase its new OB trailer at MPTS 2025, with the mobile production setup described as an “OB flyaway system on wheels”.
High Viz Media said the trailer reflects the company’s growth strategy and commitment to sustainability as part of its broader 2025 transformation plan.
Unlike traditional OB vehicles, which are typically bound to diesel-powered sprinters, the new trailer has been engineered without a fixed prime mover, the company said, adding that the design allows it to be towed by a range of vehicles—including electric—positioning it as a flexible, future-proof option for modern production workflows.
“The industry is evolving rapidly—both technically and environmentally,” said Nick Collier at High Viz Media. “Our trailer is essentially an OB flyaway system on wheels. By detaching our infrastructure from fixed, high-emission vehicles, we gain the flexibility to grow with client technology and scale sustainably.

“The trailer gives production the creature comforts of a larger OB, along with high-end broadcast equipment from High Viz’s existing infrastructure.”
The trailer’s debut forms part of High Viz Media’s broader commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Under its 2025 Transformation Plan, the company has outlined several goals, including becoming an ALBERT-approved supplier, reducing production-related emissions, developing scalable and modular broadcast systems, and building long-term industry partnerships.
