NAB 2013: Lawo to show router, video processor

Standing only 7U high, the Nova73 compact router from Lawo offers extensive routing and DSP capacity, as well as the ability to function either as a standalone device or a core for the mc² series.

The manufacturer will also be showcasing its V_pro8 video processor, which was developed for the live editing of video streams and routing. The 1U device offers frame synchronisation, format conversion, colour correction, audio de-/embedding and metering, among other features. All signals can be combined freely thanks to an 8×8 video- and a 384×384 audio-router.

Lawo’s broadcast applications, EDIT and JADE, will also be on display in their latest versions. With the needs of radio broadcasters particularly in mind, EDIT combines audio editing with an integrated text editor and the auditioning of clips to produce a streamlined, swift, editing environment in which editors and journalists are free to concentrate on content. JADE is an audio control centre for the PC supporting the simultaneous and unlimited use of all audio interfaces.

As well as these new and updated offerings, Lawo will be exhibiting its mc² series mixing consoles – including the mc²56 and mc²66 – as well as the sapphire and crystal systems.
