NAB Show 2015 expecting very strong attendance from outside the US

NAB Show will host 64 international delegations from every continent, including first-time delegations from Benin, Cote d’Ivoire, Myanmar and Pakistan. Nearly 30 percent of the event’s more than 98,000 attendees will travel from 159 countries to NAB Show 2015.

In addition, some 650 exhibiting companies out of the more than 1,700 total NAB Show exhibitors are headquartered outside the US.

“NAB Show continues to be the unparalleled gathering place for media and entertainment experts and exhibitors from all corners of the globe,” said NAB Executive vice-president of communications Dennis Wharton. “The international presence at this year’s convention will again play a significant role in shaping commerce on the exhibit floor and expose attendees to a diversity of networking opportunities, new ideas, and revenue-generating opportunities.”

NAB Show participates in the US Department of Commerce’s International Buyer Program, which recruits international trade delegations to select US trade shows and connects international buyers with US suppliers.

NAB Show’s Exhibit Hall will host over 650 companies based outside of the United States that will be showcasing cutting-edge technology solutions and services. The exhibition will also feature returning pavilions from Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Korea and the UK, and new pavilions from Canada and China.

NAB Show also offers an International Trade Center in the South Hall Upper Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The ITC offers onsite services for international guests and NAB Show exhibitors to facilitate business opportunities, including c ommercial trade specialists and multi-lingual staff providing translation assistance.

In September, NAB Show kicked off the second year of NAB Show Collaborative, an initiative focused on leading the global media and entertainment industry through partnerships with international organisations and events, offering best-in-class education, open dialogue and showcased technologies to inspire growth and innovation to all segments of the industry, from content creation to consumption.
