Nearly 300 attend Broadcast Solutions GmbH / SVG Europe Broadcast Innovation Days event

The latest Broadcast Solutions GmbH Innovation Days event – which was co-produced by SVG Europe – attracted nearly 300 visitors to the systems integrator’s Bingen, Germany, facilities. The busy day-long event included a mini trade show, product showcases, new solution demos, and a conference programme devised by SVG Europe Editor David Davies.

Production in 4K using IP and 12G-SDI, the challenge of HDR/HDR workflows, and the implications of new distribution models were among the topics under discussion during a series of panel sessions. There was also a special session focusing on Broadcast Solutions GmbH’s long-running association with NEP regarding the design and build of new OB trucks.

Speakers included Phil Myers (SAM), Simon Reed (Evertz UK), Thomas Riedel (Riedel Communications), Paul Henriksen (NEP Europe), Kevin Salvidge (Leader Instruments Corporation) and Klaus Weber (Grass Valley), among others.
