Olympic Channel to deliver 1350 hours of coverage from Winter Games to India’s sports fans

The Olympic Channel has revealed that it will be presenting 1350 hours of coverage from the Winter Games to sports fans located across India, including 870 hours of live streaming and video on-demand of all competition, in addition to a 24/7 news channel. According to the IOC, it marks the first occasion on which the Olympic Winter Games have been made available to viewers in India.

Competition began yesterday (Thursday 8 February), a day before the Opening Ceremony on Friday, 9 February, and runs through the Closing Ceremony on Sunday, 25 February. Full competition schedules and live streaming details are available on olympicchannel.com.

In addition to event coverage on the free digital platform, viewers can log on to the Olympic Channel on YouTube for live coverage of select events and the 24/7 Olympic Channel News. The Olympic Channel’s comprehensive coverage also includes dedicated crews on the ground in PyeongChang to report from behind-the-scenes and to conduct interviews with athletes for the local audience.
