From football leagues to Olympic Games, Panasonic supports the industry with its Broadcast & ProAV technology and solutions to achieve the excellence in image quality and bring entertainment to the life.

At the recent IBC show in Amsterdam, Panasonic showcased a variety of 4K innovations for sports broadcasting: studio camera line-up, a prototype 360-degree real-time camera, a multipurpose camera, and collaboration with Intel on a new expressP2 card reader.

Panasonic’s comprehensive range of studio camera systems is presented with the AK-UC3000 4K studio camera, which supports HDR thanks to its wide dynamic range capabilities, and AK-HC5000 HD Studio Camera.

The company also released its 4K AK-UB300 multipurpose camera, a B4-mount–equipped box camera aimed at sports, remote studios, live concerts, and aerial shooting.

Delivering excellent image quality in a compact form factor, all three cameras are highly suitable for sports video production. Ten UC3000 cameras were recently used by Mediapro in the production of the first El Clásico match, between Barcelona and Real Madrid, to be broadcast in Ultra-High Definition.

Andre Meterian, Director Professional Video Systems Business Unit for Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) said, “SVG has become an important discussion forum and meeting place for the European sports production community, helping to debate innovation, change management and new developments across this rapidly moving marketplace. SVG is the ideal organisation for Panasonic to stay close to our major clients, so we are very pleased to join as a Gold Sponsor.”
