Paris 2024: RTBF settles into rooftop studio to deliver 13 hours of content each day
RTBF, which along with VRT enjoys exclusive broadcast rights in Belgium for the Olympic Games until 2032, will be delivering more than 220 hours of sport as it brings viewers a mixture of live content and a daily magazine show.
A nous Paris, a highlights and interviews-based show, will be broadcast each evening on la Une from the Belgian broadcaster’s Paris rooftop studio in Belgium House.
Coverage begins on Friday with Ophélie Fontana heading two special editions of the show, at 1pm and 6:30pm, accompanied by numerous guests and featuring input from the Belgian broadcaster’s special correspondents in Paris. The Opening Ceremony will also be broadcast live from 7.30.
From the next day, viewers will benefit from more than 13 hours of daily live content (between 9:45am and 11pm) on Tipik. In total, more than 220 hours of sport will be offered until the closing ceremony on 11 August.
Content will also be available daily on the radio with RTBF creating an Olympic programme for VivaSport in DAB+, while Vivacité will host a three-hour show each evening providing time for analysis time and to explore all the stories of the Games.
