PGA Tour Studios teams up with SES for hybrid content distribution
PGA Tour Studios will use SES’ end-to-end sports technology and hybrid infrastructure to deliver over 5,000 hours of content annually around the world.
PGA Tour Studios has struck a long term deal with SES to use the SES SCORE platform and hybrid distribution to deliver more than 5,000 hours of golf tournaments annually.
The agreement to provide tournament content delivery and orchestration with SES’s hybrid IP, fibre and satellite network and the unique Sports Content Orchestration Enabler (SES SCORE) platform and includes content coordination, monitoring, delivery, non-linear highlights, and custom formats.
SES said that SCORE will allow PGA Tour Studios to manage sports content orchestration, reducing delivery complexity and ensuring a simplified, transparent experience for media partners.

“SES will help streamline operations, improve reliability and assist PGA TOUR Studios in creating a roadmap to ensure continuous alignment with our changing content distribution needs.”
