Pixotope teams up with Unilumin, Boston Limited, Pro Cyc and RED to deliver turnkey virtual production packages for FIFA World Cup

Pixotope has announced a strategic collaboration with Unilumin, Boston Limited, Pro Cyc and RED Digital Cinema to offer a fully integrated, budget-friendly virtual production package designed specifically for the FIFA World Cup and future large-scale broadcast events.

The partnership brings together top-tier technology providers in display, tracking, chroma and cinematic imaging to deliver a plug-and-play solution that makes it easier than ever for broadcasters, rights holders and content creators to adopt advanced XR and VS/AR workflows, without the friction of complex integration or inflated costs.

Whether building immersive LED XR stages or deploying green screen-based virtual sets and augmented graphics, the bundled offering delivers a streamlined path from concept to broadcast, including options to buy or lease the complete system.

“With the global stage of the FIFA World Cup on the horizon, we wanted to remove the traditional roadblocks of virtual production: cost, complexity and compatibility,” said Phil Ventre, chief strategy office at Pixotope. “By aligning with industry leaders like Unilumin, Boston Limited, Pro Cyc and RED, who are already delivering in this space to top broadcasters, we’re offering a game-changing, turnkey solution for creators who demand quality, speed, and scalability.”

Turnkey package highlights include Pixotope’s XR & VS/AR engine, Unilumin LED panels, render engines from Boston, cyclorama systems for green screen and hybrid studio environments from Pro Cyc, and high-performance cinematic and broadcast imaging from RED cameras.

With flexible deployment options of a curved or straight LED wall with or without floor, or options of a greenscreen cyc, all with international support, the package is built not only for the FIFA World Cup but for ongoing productions across sports, entertainment and live events.
