Premiership Women’s Rugby announces four-year broadcast partnership with Limitless

Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR) has agreed a landmark four-year partnership with Limitless to deliver full live coverage of every PWR fixture from the 2025/26 season through to 2028/29.

Under the agreement, Limitless will produce four games every weekend over an 18-week regular season (ensuring all nine PWR clubs’ matches are broadcast live), in addition to both semi-finals and the PWR final.

Limitless will produce and deliver all PWR live content, including one marquee match per week on TNT Sports and one match per week on BBC iPlayer, with the remaining two matches per week streamed on PWR’s official YouTube channel.

This holistic multi-platform approach ensures fans, wherever they are, will have access to high-quality broadcasts across television, digital, and streaming channels.

For PWR, this partnership represents a major leap in visibility, professionalism and opportunity. The league has long aspired to bring women’s rugby to a broader audience, and this collaboration with Limitless delivers that ambition at scale.

Key pillars of the partnership include consistent exposure that ensures no club left behind; a deliberate strategy to bring forward female commentators, analysts, sideline reporters, and production staff; and tailored content for YouTube, social media, highlights, behind-the-scenes features, and more.

From the 2025/26 season onward, fans and stakeholders can expect a consistent, high-quality broadcast experience across linear and digital platforms. Limitless’ production teams will work closely with PWR, clubs, broadcasters, and talent partners to deliver and evolve the offering season on season.

PWR executive chair Genevieve Shore said: “This partnership with Limitless is a giant leap forward for Premiership Women’s Rugby. Finally, every match can be seen by fans across the country and beyond. Not just the headline fixtures.

“It gives us a platform to showcase our athlete’s week in, week out and will unlock opportunities for female voices in commentary, analysis, and production. We’re going further than simply broadcasting matches; we’re intent on building a legacy for women’s sport.

“We know our fans and athletes have been crying out for this level of coverage since day one, and we’re excited to finally be able to grant that wish.”

Limitless CEO & founder Claire Wilkie added: “This is a landmark moment for women’s rugby. The World Cup showed us what this game can do – the power, the passion, the energy of the fans and the players. Now it’s about keeping that fire alive, week in, week out, with every match on show.

“At Limitless, we believe in creating opportunities to tell stories without limits. Whether it’s on screen, in the commentary box, or behind the camera, our mission is simple: reach the next generation, ignite their passion, and give this sport the platform it deserves.”
