Grup Mediapro has been chosen by Prime Video to provide live production services for NBA on Prime games within the Spanish market. The production will be led from Barcelona.
Prime Video’s decision to entrust Grup Mediapro with this high-profile project is based on the group’s proven track record of technical excellence, innovation, and production expertise, including HDR signal management and virtual studio production. This season alone, Grup Mediapro will deliver more than 100 games with these standards.
The project will officially kick off on 24 October, supported by a large-scale deployment of technical resources and specialised professionals. Grup Mediapro has set up multiple commentary booths and a studio which will be used for a number of NBA on Prime broadcasts including pre-game and post-game programming which will also feature commentators including Lalo Alzueta, Andrés Monje, Marc Mundet, Sergio Rabinal and Anna Cruz.
