ITV has agreed a new four-year deal with Racecourse Media Group (RMG), Ascot and Arena Racing Company (ARC) to show exclusive free-to-air coverage of UK horse racing from 2027 until the end of 2030.
Some 117 days of live coverage will be shown across ITV1, ITV4, STV and STV Player – all simulcast on ITVX – along with the morning racing programme The Opening Show.
ITV Racing’s live coverage will continue to showcase the very best in the UK racing calendar. Events such as the Grand National, Royal Ascot, the Cheltenham Festival and the Derby all form part of the new deal. ITV will also include five races from the main site as a minimum for all the fixtures on ITV4.

- ITV Horse Racing is currently enjoying its best ever year on ITVX generating over 15 million streams. Other highlights from 2025 include:
- The Grand National provided ITV its biggest peak audience of Q2 with 5.2 million
- Five million viewers watched Royal Ascot across the five days it was on air, with viewing on the final day (Saturday) up by over 20% compared to last year
