RaceTech renews Bronze SVG Europe sponsorship

RaceTech, which provides a range of technical and outside broadcast services for the horse racing and wider sports industry, has renewed its Bronze sponsorship of SVG Europe.

The company provides broadcast facilities at over 1,500 fixtures across 59 racecourses supplying HD pictures for terrestrial transmission by ITV Racing and satellite channels Racing TV and Sky Sports Racing. Its state-of-the-art remote production hub at Raynes Park along with fleet of 14 high spec OB units plus support vehicles deliver live coverage of every race, directed and produced in partnership with broadcasters.

The company has recently announced a number of contract extensions, including a long-term agreement with The Racing Partnership which for the first time in RaceTech’s history includes the provision of off-course connectivity working with network provider BMC. The contract will see RaceTech continue to provide full outside broadcast facilities, integrity coverage, on course programming and other essential racecourse services such as photo finish and race timing as well as 10Gb connectivity to 22 racecourses and multiple video circuits to TRP’s distribution partners.

In the past year, Racetech also agreed long-term extensions with The Jockey Club, York, Chester and Goodwood racecourses. RaceTech has also continued along its path of innovation recently bringing to market remotely controlled tracker vehicle, drone and parade ring coverage and stalls handler cams.
