RaceTech signs new three-year partnership with York Racecourse

The first scheduled York Racecourse event this year is to run 12-14 May

RaceTech, the outside broadcast and technical service provider to racing, has signed a new three-year agreement with York Racecourse.

The new contract will see RaceTech continue to provide public address, photo finish, starting stalls, enhanced graphics and technical support for the racecourse.

John Bozza, chief executive officer at RaceTech, commented: “We are really pleased to have signed a new three-year partnership agreement with York Racecourse. RaceTech has unrivalled experience in the delivery of these essential race day services and we look forward to continuing and growing our long-standing relationship.”

Looking ahead to welcoming the public back to York over the course of this season, chief executive and clerk of the course, William Derby, added: “York continues to value the role of RaceTech in helping deliver a race day. Whether it’s the integrity-related areas such as starting stalls and photo finish or the customer experience of the race day television network. So I’m delighted to have settled a long term partnership.”

The first race day of the new partnership will be the start of York’s 2021 season, The Dante Festival scheduled to run 12-14 May 2021.
