RCS Sport extends partnership with RAI, Eurosport

RCS Sport has recently signed an agreement with RAI and Eurosport to extend up to 2016 the partnership on TV rights concerning Giro d‘Italia and five other Italian bicycle races.

The races in question are as follows: Milano-Sanremo, Il Giro di Lombardia, la Tirreno-Adriatico, Strade Bianche and Roma Maxima.

The announcement brings good news in several key respects: live production will be increased, while for the first time ever all broadcasts will be in HD, just as happened with Giro d’Italia.
