Record numbers expected for SVG Europe’s Sport Production Summit 2015

An unprecedented number of delegates have registered to attend Sport Production Summit taking place September 10 at the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky. SVG Europe is delighted to confirm that over 270 sports broadcast professionals have registered to attend, a record number for a European event. This demonstrates the continuing growth of Sports Video Group in Europe, as our reputation builds and senior operators across the contintent view SVGE gatherings as must-attend events.

Our first case study on the programme is UEFA Next Generation Services. We are delighted that former EVS CEO Joop Janssen, Yoap Holding, has agreed to moderate a panel comprising Puiu Dolea, Eurovision, Manager of Business Continuity and Special Projects; Gilles Mas, deltatre, World Football Unit & Digital Host Broadcast Director; and Bernard Ross, UEFA, Head of TV Production.

New Approaches in OB Design is a pretty self-explanatory session, featuring the exciting new 4K UHD trucks appearing for the first time on the European market. There’s much anticipatory buzz around panel session BT Sport Ultra HD: Europe’s First 4K Channel, looking not just at the amazing breakthroughs around UHD but also BT Sport’s studio and infrastructure preparations ahead of becoming sole UK rightsholder for UEFA Champions League and Europa League in the UK. For this session, broadcasters from around Europe discuss their current plans for big events to come and what new technologies and techniques we might see introduced for 2016 major sports events coverage.
