Red Bee has renewed its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe.

With over 20 years’ experience, Red Bee’s media services enable broadcasters, content owners and rights holders to deliver live sports to global audiences at high quality, low latency and reliably. The company successfully delivers thousands of hours of content each day to millions of viewers. Red Bee is also enhancing services with the highest levels of accessibility through live captioning, signing and audio description. The latter was recently exemplified by the company’s key involvement in enabling the most accessible live sports broadcast in the UK to date, during BT Sport’s broadcasts of the FA Disability Cup.

On the decision to return as a Gold sponsor, James Arnold, chief commercial officer at Red Bee Media, said: “SVG Europe is an important community for Red Bee as it provides unique opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing in the realm of sports media. We are renewing our membership and looking forward to continuing our contribution to driving best practice in the industry.”

He continued: “As live sports returned in full force this summer, Red Bee is delivering thousands of hours of incredible content to millions of viewers across the globe, including UEFA Euro 2020, Olympics and Paralympics. We are supporting some of the biggest media brands and broadcasters in the world including the BBC, BT Sport, Canal+ International, NPO and TV4, as well as sports organisations, rights owners and media entrepreneurs who want to monetise great content and build communities with direct-to-consumer propositions, enabled by our OTT services. These new generation customers include a wide variety of sports media organisations, such as Extreme E, Ekstraklasa, Sportstribal TV and Fightzone.”
