Remote Production Workshop: Contributors from BT Sport, DAZN and EMG added to the speaker line-up

More speakers have been added to the content programme for SVG Europe’s Remote Production Workshop, sponsored by LiveU.

Taking place from 14:00 (UK time) on Wednesday 13 April, the online event will feature panels, interviews and case studies, focusing on best practices for sports remote, and discussing how we can continue to improve remote workflows.

The show will start with Jamie Hindhaugh, BT Sport Chief Operating Officer. He’ll be discussing the broadcaster’s shift to a de-centralised and cloud-based production model.

Also on the bill are: Louise Lawler, VP of Production & Editorial Operations, DAZN; and Bevan Gibson, Chief Operating Officer, EMG.

They’ll be joining the ‘Get the truck out of here! How to design more efficient remote galleries and production hubs’ panel, alongside Malcolm Cowan, Head of Engineering & Technology, NEP UK; and Tom Giles, VP, Director of Engineering, IMG Studios.

Other speakers include Franck Choquard, Head of Content & Platforms at Eurovision Sport, who will showcase the remote production set-up for coverage of the niche sport of ski mountaineering.

While Stuart Brown, Domo Broadcast Systems, Broadcast Systems Integration Director, David Mitchinson, Appear, Head of Strategic Initiatives, and John Mailhot, Imagine Communications CTO Networking & Infrastructure, who will take part in a Thought Leader Perspectives panel on the future of outside broadcasting.
