Reuters Imagen, a cloud-native media management platform that serves sports organisations, media companies and businesses, has renewed its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe.
The Reuters Imagen platform is used by federations, leagues and teams to manage and distribute their media, enabling easy access to broadcast-quality content around the world. Live feeds can be editied and distributed in real-time while files can be sent quickly and securely.
In addition, the company’s AI-driven content library makes use of multimodal video-data analysis, looking at multiple inputs – faces, text, objects, logos – to decipher what it can see, making video and rich media more searchable and creating opportunities to monetise archive content.
One recent project utilising the Reuters Imagen platform is with SailGP, which has launched a cloud-based content platform, the SailGP Port, via the Reuters Imagen platform. It allows rights-holding broadcasters’ teams and sponsors to download content, with access controlled according to their permissions.
