RT Software announces key creative appointments

RT Software has released details of key strategic appointments in line with the company’s growth plan to build on the success of its creative team. New recruits Ed Schiffer and Darrell James have joined RT Software as real time graphic designers working in the company’s London head office. Both Schiffer and James will be working as part of the creative team, headed by Justin Avery.

Ed Schiffer has more than seven years’ experience working in broadcast graphics, having previously been a 3D Designer for the biggest network in Latin America, Globosat. He has a special interest in virtual inserts for sports and 3D animation, including characters, and has moved from his native Brazil to work for RT Software in London. Prior to Globosat, Schiffer made a college project become reality by managing the technical settings, animation, story development and direction of a 30-minute planetarium fulldome movie.

Darrell James joins the company directly after completing a degree in 3D design from the University of South Wales in Cardiff, bringing fresh ideas and skills in areas as diverse as physically based rendering, texturing methodologies and programming.
