Save the Date: SVGE 2015 Football Production Summit March 17 at Mediapro Barcelona

The well-established annual SVG Europe Football Production Summit will take place on March 17 at the Mediapro Imagine Auditorium in Barcelona. SVG Europe is delighted to announce that the Summit will this year be presented in association with Spanish media and broadcast giant Mediapro.

Save the date in your diary for Europe’s leading event attracting broadcasters, leagues, federations and clubs to discuss the latest innovations in production and technology for televised football coverage. Details of the event programme and speakers will be revealed by SVG Europe in coming weeks.

Set up in 1994 in Barcelona, the Mediapro Group merged with the Globomedia Group in 2006, and together with WPP, a world leading company in communications and marketing and Torreal, they formed the Imagina Group which today is the leading European multimedia content supplier and unique in its integration of audiovisual content, production and distribution. The company had a turnover in the region of 1,387 million euros in 2013 and a workforce close to 3,450.

Mediapro is the leading Spanish technical services supplier to the audiovisual sector. The company produces and distributes audiovisual content, administers and distributes sporting events, is a film and interactive content producer and supplier of post production services. Mediapro is also involved in technical engineering, transmission services, communications and marketing consultancy and advertising trading as well as design and post production services for themed television channels.

The Imagina auditorium is located in the Mediapro offices in Barcelona, a space devoted to production, training and research in the audiovisual field. Equipped with the latest technology, it has a capacity of 300 people.
