Save the Dates! SVG Europe announces Sport Production Summit and Awards Reception events for September

After enthusiastically-received and well-attended events in 2014, SVG Europe has confirmed the return of its Sport Production Summit and Awards events for IBC week in Amsterdam. Whilst Sport Production Summit is set for the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky on 10 September, the Awards Reception will take place in the First Floor restaurant of the RAI on 12 September.

Last year’s Awards event honoured the main production providers and decision-makers behind the two largest sporting events in the world, the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, for production achievement. In addition, Sportvision was acknowledged for its groundbreaking technical achievement related to the use of graphics and tracking data for the America’s Cup in 2013.

Meanwhile, the Sport Production Summit 2014 featured sessions on production innovation and techniques at the Commonwealth Games and Ryder Cup, and the a ‘behind the scenes’ look at Sky Deutschland’s live satellite HEVC Ultra HD deployment for the April 2014 FC Bayern Munich/SV Werder Bremen Bundesliga match.
