Sennheiser goes for Gold SVG Europe sponsorship

Sennheiser has returned as a Gold sponsor of SVG Europe.

“We’ve renewed because SVG Europe has been a valuable partner to us, consistently bringing together all players in sports broadcasting, both virtually and in person. We very much value their voice in the industry,” said Tobias von Allwörden, manager broadcast & film, Sennheiser.

Sennheiser offers a range of solutions for sports broadcast, including the new Spectera bidirectional wideband wireless audio ecosystem; rugged and climate-resistant RF condenser microphones for location pick-up; wireless solutions for ENG work; monitoring and mixing headphones; and broadcast headsets.

Spectera, which began shipping this year, is designed to offer ease of use for both RF managers and the entire audio team. The hardware includes the Base Station, the bidirectional SEK bodypack, in versions for the TV-UHF and 1.4GHz bands, the DAD transceiving antennas (also in TV-UHF and 1.4GHz versions), MADI cards and various accessories. The software for the ecosystem includes the LinkDesk software and the browser-based Spectera WebUI. Users include PGA Tour Studios and NEP Australia,

Future plans for Sennheiser include further extension of the Spectera ecosystem in line with user requirements, including SMPTE 2110 integration, and the SKM handheld microphone, for example, extension of the Evolution Wireless Digital series.
