Shure renews Gold SVG Europe sponsorship
Shure has renewed its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe. An audio pioneer for almost a century, Shure offers a wide range of products from mics and headphones to software, mixers and network interfaces.
The company has been responsible for some of the most iconic products in the industry, including the SM7 professional broadcasting and voiceover microphone, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.
More recent innovations from Shure include the MoveMic microphone system, which comprises wireless clip-on mics that leverage the company’s technology to send two channels of broadcast-quality audio directly to a smartphone without requiring a receiver.
Shure also recently acquired Finland-based developer Ab Wavemark. Together Shure’s Wireless Workbench and Wavemark’s Wavetool offerings provide audio engineers with a comprehensive set of tools to manage RF and monitor all audio sources throughout a production, from pre-show planning to monitoring and listening during the show for flawless audio performance.
