Sixty’s Ease Live interactive graphics solution lands originality award

TV experience company Sixty has announced that its Ease Live interactive graphics solution – an innovative product that integrates with broadcast graphics systems and enables interactive, clickable on-air graphics for tablets and other smart devices – has won the Broadcast Beat Award for Originality.

The Broadcast Beat Awards recognise companies creating new and innovative products and services to the broadcasting and post-production industries, and are awarded to companies exhibiting at NAB. Judging criteria include originality, improvement on existing technology, inventive qualities, and whether the technology is ground-breaking and an advancement.

Ease Live brings something new to the industry. It integrates with any existing broadcast graphics systems as well as workflows, and allows broadcasters to send statistics, highlights and other compelling information from their graphics systems directly to end users.

Taking advantage of the data feeds already in use for the linear broadcast, Ease Live makes the data interactive and available to viewers with no requirement for further integration, enhancing the viewer experience for increased competitive advantage in a challenging marketplace.

“We’re delighted to receive this recognition from Broadcast Beat, because we believe Ease Live is a game changer in our industry,” said Kjetil Horneland, CEO at Sixty. “Ease Live enables broadcasters and content owners to take their online services to exciting new heights with interactive on-air graphics, providing them with a range of opportunities to create new, engaging experiences and build new revenue streams.”

“Ease Live is the result of our 15 years of experience working with the media industry from interactive multiscreen solutions to broadcast graphics,” continued Horneland, “It is the best expression so far of our multidisciplinary expertise. Our goal is always to help create the best TV experience possible.”

Sixty will showcase Ease Live at NAB in on-floor meeting room N319MR, North Hall.
