Sky Deutschland to retain PGA Tour broadcast rights

The holiday period brought the news that German pay TV operator Sky Deutschland has retained the broadcast rights to the US PGA Tour for Germany and Austria through until the end of 2015.

The first broadcast under the new arrangement will be the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Kapalua, Hawaii, due to begin on 4 January.

Extending a deal originally formulated in 2010, the Sky Deutschland/PGA agreement encompasses exclusive broadcast rights via TV, online, IPTV and mobile TV.
