German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland has commenced offering highlights of its live sports coverage free of charge on the internet, according to RapidTVNews. Sports fans in Germany and Austria can watch selected highlights at the video portal YouTube. A Sky subscription is not required.
From Monday mornings, the highlights of all games of German football league Bundesliga will be available including all goals as stand-alone clips. The offering is complemented by interviews, previews and excerpts from football programmes “Sky90” and “Samstag LIVE!.”
Additionally, shortly after the end of each match Sky’s YouTube channel will provide highlights of all UEFA Champions League games and the matches of the German teams playing in the UEFA Europa League. It will also contain selected highlight clips of domestic football competition DFB Cup and each day’s highlights of tennis tournament Wimbledon.
