SmartCart technology aims to change way fans watch sports
Sports Video Group Europe is pleased to welcome SmartCart Technology as an OB/SI/Other category sponsor. SmartCart SVX is a mobile, custom-built, highly adaptable, ultra-bright, all-weather touchscreen analysis and presentation system for broadcasters. The technology can also serve as a standalone mobile ‘studio’ for remote productions, delivering significant cost savings and providing new opportunities for sponsorship.
“From a zero start position and being originally a broadcast member, I am very proud to now be in a position to sponsor Sports Video Group as a new company, providing turnkey broadcast services both in the U.S.A. and in Europe. I would also to thank SVG Europe for creating such an effective platform serving all areas of sports where all the key industry drivers to come together to share and inspire ideas, achievements, latest developments and products,” says CEO and Founder Gil Cowie. “Their support has been and will continue to be invaluable to my enterprise.”

The company is just off contract with CBS Sports covering this season’s PGA TOUR, and is now looking forward to providing more exciting golf coverage in 2017. SmartCart will also be showing footage from multiple events at which the technology has been used at to enhance fan engagement, and provide greater insight into the game and more compelling interviews with the competitors to analyze their performance live at the venue. Attending the SVG Summit will be Gil Cowie, along with his content development partner Paul Fuller, former creative director of Sky Sports UK.
