Sony Professional appoints David Nortier to lead North Europe sales

Sony Professional has announced that it has appointed David Nortier as head of sales for North Europe. Bringing more than 20 years’ experience to the company, Nortier will be responsible for the UK, Ireland, Benelux and Nordic country sales.

Joining Sony in late August 2015, Nortier takes over from David Cheesman. As the former managing director of Signiant, he boasts a proven track record in implementing coherent business strategies for driving efficiency and future-proofing investments. As Sony continues to be a technology business partner to broadcasters and production companies alike, Nortier will draw on his experience to concentrate on helping customers streamline workflows, harness 4K and IP, and transition to new formats.
