Spiideo upgrades to become a Platinum SVG Europe sponsor
Spiideo, which offers AI-powered video and data solution for leagues, broadcasters, federations and clubs, is now a Platinum sponsor of SVG Europe.
The move comes after a $20 million funding round completed last year that is being used to accelerate innovation by expanding the company’s product and AI teams, and drive growth through an expanded international sales team.
Spiideo’s products are installed in over 6,000 venues and used by more than 4,000 teams across English football’s Premier League, the NHL, NBA, Serie A, MLS, Ligue 1, NCAA, Liga MX and Bundesliga, as well as numerous second and third tier international leagues. Its cloud-based cameras enable a range of automated production and analysis services.
In addition, the company’s Spiideo Play automated production platform has recently been enhanced with multiple angles, instant replay, a highlights studio and updated AI, marking the official transition to Autocast 2.0. Autocast 2.0 combines the role of camera operator, producer, director and commentator into a professional broadcast tool that can be managed by anybody.
