Sport Production Awards: Record number of entries received and revealed

SVG Europe is delighted to announce a record number of entries for the 2018 Sport Production Awards which will be held in Amsterdam on 13 September.

The Sport Production Awards will follow our Sport Production Summit in the DeLaMar Theatre in Leidseplein on the Thursday before IBC.

This year there were five categories for entries: Outstanding Technical Achievement in Graphics, Imaging and Audio; Outstanding Live Achievement; and Outstanding Digital Achievement. There will be no shortlisting process for the over 30 entries received this year: the winners will be announced in late August and presented with their Awards at our event on 13 September.

SVG Europe Executive Editor Fergal Ringrose said, “There is no question that the profile of our Awards is rapidly increasing, given the record number and global spread of entries right across categories, technologies and disciplines. We would like to sincerely thank all those organisations that took the time to submit entries for 2018: everyone in the business will agree that it is a particularly strong line-up of entries – one that will be very challenging for our Advisory Board members to decide upon!”
