Sport Production Summit: FIFA’s Florin Mitu to discuss World Cup challenges and milestones

FIFA Head of Broadcast Production Florin Mitu will lead off the line-up of top industry executives at Sport Production Summit in Amsterdam on 13 September.

In the opening session, titles ‘FIFA World Cup 2018 Review’, Mitu will discuss the host broadcast operation in Russia, outlining the production challenges and opportunities that it posed and highlighting the lessons learned.

The session, chaired by SVG Global Editorial Director Ken Kerschbaumer, will kick off a packed afternoon of insightful seminars that will also include speakers from DAZN, Euro Media Group. The All England Lawn Tennis Club and NEP Australia.

Other topics on the agenda for the Sport Production Summit 2018 include ‘In DAZN – Disruption, Personalisation and the Future of Televised Sport’; ‘OBjective2020 – Changing the Concept of Outside Broadcasting’; ‘Keynote Conversation – Inside NEP’s Launch of the Andrews Production Hub’; ‘Wimbledon 2018 Review – All Change for AELTC at SW19’; and ‘Global Perspectives in Sports’.

The Sport Production Summit will be followed by SVG Europe’s Sport Production Awards.
