Sportradar joins SVG Europe as new Platinum Sponsor to connect with European decisionmakers

Sportradar, a global provider of sports data intelligence, has joined SVG Europe as a Platinum Sponsor to better connect, “with European decisionmakers” in sport within the region.

Established in 2000, the company occupies a unique position at the intersection of the sports, media and betting industries, providing sports federations, news media, consumer platforms and sports betting operators with a range of solutions to help grow their business.

Director of product marketing, Adam Azor, said: “We’re thrilled to have partnered with SVG Europe, expanding on our existing relationship with SVG US. As a market-leading provider of audio visual solutions, and a partner of broadcasters such as Fox Sports in the US, this deal will allow us to connect better with European decisionmakers in this field.

“It also gives us a great opportunity to contribute to, and stay aware of, key discussions around innovation in the video, audio and technology spaces. We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship with SVG Europe.”

He added: “Sportradar was created as a sports data company and it quickly became apparent that there was real value to be had in combining data, video and other media. We are now one of the world’s leading data and video providers, solely focused on sport.

“Our partnership with SVG Europe allows us to remain at the cutting edge of technology, learn from best practice and grow our business. Advances in technology mean the need for sports data is only going to grow and that presents an opportunity for Sportradar to use data to engross and engage sports fans in a compelling way that drives real value for all stakeholders,” continued Azor.

Sportradar employs over 2,000 people in more than 30 locations around the world. It is the trusted partner of more than 1,000 companies in over 80 countries and official partner of the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, NASCAR, FIFA and UEFA.
