Sports Audio Summit 2022: Registration now open for 7 December in-person event in London

Registration is now open for SVG Europe Audio’s in-person Sports Audio Summit.

Taking place at King’s Place in London on Wednesday 7 December, this event will see audio experts explore the most exciting and disruptive technologies and ways of working in sports broadcasting today. The discussion will also centre around how these will lead, innovate and challenge the world of sound in sport going forwards into 2023 and beyond.

Sessions will begin with ‘Inside esports audio’ with Riot Games’ Project Stryker. Here, Alex Rybalko, Project Stryker’s head of audio, will give attendees the inside track on the sound of Project Stryker and how it is working to bring about a new paradigm of esports production in a cloud-enabled workflow.

Other speakers include Nuno Duarte, sound design and audio manager at Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS), who will present the concepts and technologies behind the immersive audio output at the Summer and Winter Olympic Games.

Other topics up for discussion include the sound of sports production virtualisation in the cloud, the rise of immersive audio in sports broadcasting, how sports audio will evolve in 2023 and beyond, and more.

More speakers will be announced soon.
