Sports Innovation Conference to address changing technology, business needs

Scheduled to take place at Thomas More university college in Turnhout, Belgium, on March 16, the Sports Innovation Conference will take account of changes in a multi-billion industry whose size and scope continues to expand at a dramatic rate.

Exciting developments like wearable technology, mobile fitness, quantified self-movement and big data are opening up a range of new possibilities and innovations in a very short time span. Accordingly, modern sport businesses require innovative and effective management practices to meet the changing expectations of a fast-moving society.

The Sports Innovation Conference will address these issues from a variety of viewpoints and will include two workshops, focused on sports start-ups, as well as parallel sessions featuring international specialists from Microsoft, yhe Danish Institute for Sports Studies, European Platform for Sports Innovation / EPSI, SICS Swedish ICT, Mobilab, SAP and JOHAN.
