Sports OTT Forum 2020: F1 joins speaker line up, More details on live Facebook session released
Julian Tan, Formula One, Head of Digital Business Initiatives & Esports, has been added to the speaker line-up for SVG Europe’s online version of the Sports OTT Forum which is taking place on Wednesday 27 May.
Sports OTT Forum 2020 online, sponsored by Panasonic, will feature exclusive live and ‘as live’ interviews and panel sessions that will be released in conference format, with each session being premiered at different times throughout the day, from 11am until 4pm*.
Tan (pictured above, left) will be interviewed by SVG Europe editor Heather McLean in the 1pm slot.
Further details have also been confirmed regarding the Facebook session at midday.
‘What’s on your mind, Facebook? Anna Chanduvi talks sports at the social media giant’ will consist of a special online presentation and live Q&A that will take place on Zoom.
In the session, Anna Chanduvi (pictured above, right), Sports Media Partnerships at Facebook, will take a look at how sports broadcasters and leagues and federations can use, and work with, Facebook both during the lockdown and beyond.
The session will cover best practice, use cases, Facebook as the ‘free-to-air funnel’ and niche sports as well as monetisation options across branded content and merchandise. It will conclude with an outline of the social media giants’ sports priorities for the future, including the potential of Facebook Watch, and a live online audience Q&A.
