Sports TV Awards 2020: Entries rolling in, submission advice published
Entries are starting to come in for SVG Europe’s Sports TV Awards 2020 which will take place on 27 May at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.
Ahead of the 11 March deadline, submissions have been received in all four categories, with various countries and organisations from across Europe represented.
For anyone thinking of entering the awards, SVG Europe has this week published some notes and advice to help people to submit a great entry. This accompanies the category information and the rules and eligibility guidelines.
The SVG Europe Sports TV Awards are free to enter.
The SVG Europe Sports TV Awards 2020 will recognise and honour the outstanding companies, teams and individuals that pushed sports broadcasting and production forward within the 2019 calendar year.
Moving from its former home at the Sports Production Summit in Amsterdam to the Sports OTT Forum in London (27 May 2020), the tightly focussed Awards has creative, production and distribution excellence at its core but will also take into account work that has wider benefits for the sports TV business.
Nominations are now being accepted in the following categories:
- Outstanding Production Achievement
- Outstanding OTT Experience
- One Planet Award for Sustainability in Sports TV
- SVG Europe Women Award for Diversity in Sports TV
For each, the judges will be looking to reward people, organisations and projects, big or small, that have led by example, experimented, taken risks and achieved results that can contribute to the continuing forward momentum and success of the industry as a whole.
The SVG Europe Sports TV Awards 2020 are free to enter. The winners will be announced during the Sports OTT Forum at Lord’s Cricket Ground on 27 May 2020.
