Sports TV Awards 2021 Finalist: DIVA by Deltatre and LiveLike

Over the last 12 months, two of the sport and entertainment technology industry’s most innovative and forward-thinking companies – Deltatre and LiveLike, have combined resources and expertise to elevate functionality levels in Deltatre’s OTT video player, DIVA, securing themselves a place in the ‘Outstanding OTT Experience’ category at SVG Europe’s prestigious Sports TV Awards 2021.

State-of-the-art functionality allows fans to jump right into the action of all their favourite sports. Automatic alerts appear to inform users of goals, substitutions, and key moments from other live games off-screen, heightening engagement levels and putting fans in control of what they see. Likewise, with advanced features such as picture-in-picture, 360° viewing, real-time data visualisations, and full DVR with a visual timeline, DIVA allows operators to give their fans the tools to live and relive their favourite moments in crystal clear quality.

As the battle for eyeballs intensifies, and with so much competition across the sports and entertainment landscape, DIVA helps build real fan relationships, reduces churn, and ultimately provides a better viewing experience. New features launched in 2020 included ‘Influencer Chat’ giving fans direct access to influencers who can comment and engage on live content in real-time, interactive polls and the ability to test audience’s trivia knowledge with quizzes.
